Welcome to the Strugglingmum blog.
My name is Natasha and am a 43 year old mother of two, who also works outside the home. I have been married for almost 14 years and have two kids – an 9-year-old girl and an almost 3-year-old boy.
We live in Malta, a small island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea – south of Italy. I love the simple things in life and my motto is live and let live. I can be a perfectionist at times but have learnt that sometimes good enough is just fine. I am a creative person and love reading though time is limited.
The Strugglingmum blog will keep it real…..I am far from the perfect mum or housewife. Motherhood is not all fairies and butterflies – juggling work, a household and kids is not an easy task. I would like other mothers to find comfort in my blog, rather than reaching for a bar of chocolate when their kids drive them crazy (like I do) and realize that they’re not alone.
I hope that I can give you comfort and some tips on keeping an organized home.
