Goodbye 2018….Bring on 2019

Goodbye 2018…. bring on 2019. At the dawn of 1st January 2018, I knew that the new year was going to bring many important changes. I was ready for them….they were much needed.

2018 saw the beginning of Strugglingmum…..the blog, facebook page, instagram and recently the YouTube channel.  I have come a long way, moving out of my comfort zone but am happy to have taken the leap. 2018  saw the birth of the Strugglingmum planner and Meal planner, which I look forward to  improve for the 2019 – 2020 edition.

I find joy in reading your comments, because what I had envisaged at the beginning of 2018 is becoming a reality.  As a blogger seeing that my posts are being read, gives me great satisfaction, the fact that my facebook page is getting the likes is very important too, but what gives me more satisfaction, is that I can make another mother, (who might be feeling a failure) smile after a though day and remind her that she is not alone and is doing is great job.

As a mother, 2018 brought with it many challenges, juggling everything hasn’t been easy, but slowly things are settling down now and am getting ready for the 2019 challenges, which I assure you will be huge.

So what should you expect in 2019? The challenges, as a mother will increase as my 2-year old starts school in February and my daughter will be having exams for the first time.  Continue following me, as I go through these two important milestones for my kids…….I have a feeling that there will be lots of tears and tantrums.

On a lighter note, my daughter will be turning 9-years in January and my son will turn 3-years in February…..yes one month after the other….great timing right?! Just after Christmas…..so will definitely share the activities done to celebrate the birthdays.

The plans for 2019 are challenging. Expect more organizational ideas in 2019……especially on the YouTube channel.

On a personal note, I definitely would like to make some more time for myself, so I can enjoy my family more.

I wish you and your families a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Love
