End of School year reflections……

A few more weeks and school is over…..cannot believe it!!!!

This past scholastic year was challenging …..with my daughter starting a new bigger school.  I must admit that it has been a roller coaster year with its ups and downs, but we survived made it through.

At the beginning of the year, I start with good intentions to keep up to date with all the school activities, studying etc…..This year, I started using my planner to keep track of all the school activities, deadlines and although I managed to keep on track….there were times that I struggled.  There were instances that I forgot to send things to school and there were a lot of tears but we got over it……nobody is perfect after all.

Notwithstanding, that during this scholastic year, they were assessed on a regular basis in order to introduce them to the concept of exams…..next year will be the real thing.

As a parent, the upcoming scholastic year will be a tough one, not only because of exams but also because my 2-year old will start kinder in February…..lots of new things coming our way.  Let’s hope for the best.

A special thanks goes to all the teachers out there, who with great dedication keep up with our kids.  Definitely it is not easy but I assume that the greatest satisfaction is seeing the progress children have made throughout the year.

Love
