admin Let me start this review by a disclaimer – I am no fashion guru so do not expect any fashion tips but if you tell me there is a play area in a clothing store, then you caught my attention and fashion can be my next best friend.
I had the opportunity to attend to visit NOOS clothing store in Sliema, for it’s 1st Anniversary and to be honest despite having passing in front of it several times, I had never ventured in. Trust me shopping, for anything, with a 2-year old, not matter how much you try and entertain them at some point expect a tantrum. So when I was told that NOOS had a play area, I had to go and verify for myself.
I was pleasantly surprised with the store in general.
- PLAY AREA – Let me immediately give you my impression of the play area. It is situated on level -1, which is a plus because your child cannot just escape and run into the busy street – s/he would need to go up the stairs or use the lift. It is situated at the very back of the floor, so whilst you are checking kids clothing, accessories for you or even lingerie for yourself, you can still keep an eye on the kiddos. Another positive aspect is that in the play area there are two fitting rooms, so whilst you try on clothes, you can still hear the kids playing. The play area does not only have a TV but also toys, cosy cushions and a pretend fireplace. Well done, NOOS for the area ……for me it’s 10 out of 10.
- MEN’S SECTION – On the top floor there is the men’s section, and what is particular is that on this level there is bar. Many men have been dozing off on some chair, whilst the wife/girlfriend was shopping and trying on outfits. At NOOS, they can wait and take a drink. 10 out of 10 for thinking about our partners.
- CLOTHING – NOOS has a variety of styles, so whatever your style you will definitely find something whether it casual or formal. Kids clothing are comfortable easy to wear. If you have a girl, you have to check the Lemon Jelly shoes….they have a lemon smell. Price wise, it is within the range one would expect of good quality clothing. 10 out of 10 for having original shoes.
NOOS is not just another clothing store – it wants you to enjoy your shopping experience with your family without having to stress out about your kids and partner getting bored. Well done NOOS and will definitely visit again.
