It is important to have some form of storage in the bathroom in order to keep your essentials and keep your sink area clear of clutter.
To identify the right storage solution, first and foremost you need to determine what you are going to store…are you going to store all your towels or do you have alternative storage, are you storing extra bath supplies?
Once you have determined your needs you can buy the right storage solution.
2. Sort your items
Now that you have your storage sorted out, you need to sort through the items intended for the bathroom. Gather like items together, such as make up, hair products and bath products.
3. Purge, Purge, Purge
You can now go through your categories and purge items that you no longer love. Keep items that you use on a regular basis. Make sure to dispose of any medicines in the proper manner.
4. Organize each area of your bathroom
The bathroom can be split into various categories; that bath tub / shower, sink area, bathroom drawers and so on and so forth. The items sorted previously, now can be stored in the right area. Your bathtub area should have all the necessities to take a bath, whilst any extra items are to be stored away separately. Everything should have its own home.
5. Maintain your bathroom
We all have been guilty of leaving an empty bottle of bath foam laying around in the bathroom or of accumulating stuff that we don’t love.
