Are you ready for Back to School? Only a few weeks left, and we’re back to the routine. This time of year brings a lot of expenses but also some worries, especially if it’s their first time at school. Don’t worry children will settle quickly

What are the things that you need to keep in mind when preparing for Back to School? It actually starts when school finishes.

  • When School finishes, what has been returned which is still in good condition, and any supplies that have not been used. Take note of them and make sure to use for the upcoming scholastic year;
  • The majority of schools give the stationery and books list a few weeks after school finishes. I always like to start my back to school shopping from the books – that way if anything should be out of stock there would be ample time for me to source from somewhere else;
  • Next I think about the stationery – and this is where you can source any unused supplies and avoid buying extras;
  • Last but not least I buy shoes and uniforms (if applicable). Kids grow up so fast, so don’t wish to risk them outgrowing shoes and clothes before school starts.

On my YouTube channel I am sharing with you the Stationery and Books bought for my two children. The books cost Eur138, whilst stationery for two children cost Eur143.

I am also listing the stationery required for my daughter, who is going into Grade 5 (Church School) and for my son who is starting Kinder 1 (Government School).
