March Meal Plan

Many of you found the February Meal plan helpful, so I will be also sharing the meal plan for the month of March.  Did I stick to the meal plan?  Apart a couple from a couple of days that I switched a few recipes.

Did we like all the recipes?  The least favorite was the Slowcooker Chicken Philly Steak (once is was done I put the chicken in the oven with slices of cheese to melt) – will not make it on my family favorites.

The most favorite ones were the Slowcooker Sweet & Sour BBQ Meatballs and the Freezer Friendly Baked Ravioli.  The advantage is that you can chop everything, place in a ziplock bag, and freeze.  If you would like to know more about how to freeze check my How to Organize your Freezer blog post.

Week 1 (1st – 8th March)

Week 2 (9th – 15th March)

Week 3 (16th – 22nd March)

Week 4 (23rd – 29th March)

Week 5 (30th – 31st March)

As far as the grocery list is concerned, I don’t really need much except for fresh vegetables which I will have them delivered from Mgarr Farms

The only things I need to stock up are mozzarella which will be used for the Homemade Pizza and the Freezer Friendly Baked Ravioli.  As far as meat is concerned I still have 2 chili con carne in the freezer, one of which will be used this month, and stocked up on some more ground beef, pork chops and  beef (laham tal-friza) and the total came to approximately Eur39.00

When planning your meals, always use items you already have in your pantry and rotate your family favorites.  As you have seen, some of the recipes for the March Meal plan, I have done last month….but if they are a success why should I reinvent the wheel?  I try and keep new recipes to one or two a month.

You can watch my meal planning tips on my YouTube Channel.
